This week, our school community came together and hosted our annual 'World Cultures Day', a vibrant and educational gathering that showcases the diverse backgrounds of our staff, pupils and their families. This special event is designed to enrich our community's understanding of various cultures through music, dance, art, and traditional cuisines. We believe that by embracing and exploring our differences, we can build a more inclusive and supportive environment for our children.

Friday 23 May 2025 Year 5 Pupils Celebrate Top Attendance with a Trip to London Zoo! We are thrilled to share that our Year 5 class was rewarded with a fantastic trip to London Zoo for achieving the best attendance across the school last term! Their commitment to showing up, staying engaged, and supporting one another really paid off, and what better way to celebrate than a day of adventure and learning among the amazing animals!

Thursday 15 May 2025 Year 8 Pupils Explore History and Maths at Chislehurst Caves As part of our Year 8 maths curriculum this half term, students recently enjoyed an exciting educational trip to Chislehurst Caves. The visit provided a unique opportunity for pupils to apply their numeracy skills in a real-world setting while also learning about a fascinating piece of local history.

Wednesday 30 April 2025 Duckling Delight at BBA! This past week, our pupils at BBA have had the joy of spending time with some very special new arrivals—our newly hatched ducklings! Starting as eggs in an incubator, they’ve quickly grown into fluffy, energetic little characters.

Every nomination includes a short write-up, highlighting the reasons why that pupil deserves the prestigious Jack Petchey Achievement Award.

Monday 11 March 2024 Wize Up Personal Development is very important at BBA, so the Sixth Formers take part in an activity each half term to stretch their learning away from the curriculum. This week, Laura Flynn from Wize Up came to deliver Session 1 of a two-part programme that is focussing on financial health. Students discussed employability skills and the importance of budgeting today. We learnt that you need good earning power to be able to pay all the monthly bills. Being a student is much easier than being an adult.
