Naomi Rose Barker
Naomi is Head of Schools' Projects at Haberdashers' Hall where she works with the 15 Haberdasher schools to achieve their aim to 'empower young people from every background to fulfil their potential'. She has a background as a teacher and in education charities, leading mentoring programmes and careers workshops for children and young people.She also holds an MA in Sociology in which she particularly focused on social research for social change and sociology of education, driven by a passion for combatting education inequality and supporting all young people to thrive. -
Mark ElseStaff Governor
Mark Else
Mark is currently in his second year of a Youth Work degree and serves as one of the Safeguarding Leads at Bromley Beacon Academy, where he has been a dedicated member of staff for the past four years.
His professional journey includes valuable experience as a Family Worker, Community Outreach Lead, and After-School Club Play Leader within a mainstream primary school setting. These roles have equipped him with a strong foundation in child development and community engagement.
Prior to entering the education sector, Mark gained a wealth of leadership and customer service experience in the retail industry, having worked with well-known brands such as Gregg's, Sainsbury's, Game, and Ladbrokes. He also spent three years working as an unqualified youth worker, which sparked his passion for supporting young people.
Mark is a committed advocate for children's rights, with a practice rooted in trauma-informed care, youth empowerment, and reflective practice. He is especially passionate about promoting mental health, emotional resilience, and personal growth among the young people he works with.

Kezia EnnisParent Governor
Kezia Ennis
Kezia Ennis has proudly served as a Staff Governor at Bromley Beacon Academy for the past three years. Since joining the Academy in 2017 as a Progress Partner, she has embraced a variety of roles, including working as an unqualified teacher in Year 3 and serving as one of the school's dedicated Dyslexia Champions.
Kezia brings a deeply personal perspective to her work, shaped by her experience as a mother to a daughter who faced challenges with dyslexia throughout her school years. This insight has strengthened her belief in the importance of early identification and tailored strategies to support dyslexic learners—ensuring they maintain self-esteem, feel included in the classroom, and build positive educational experiences.
Currently, Kezia supports pupils as the 1:1 Intervention KS2 Teacher at the Orpington Campus. She also plays a key role in coordinating assessments across both the Orpington and Bromley campuses, helping to identify targeted support that enhances students' long-term success.
Outside of work, Kezia is a proud mum in a blended family of four children, a grandchild, and a lively labradoodle—all of whom keep her happily busy. Her commitment to Bromley Beacon Academy remains unwavering; she has witnessed the school's growth and development over the years and is proud to continue contributing to its journey. Kezia is passionate about ensuring every student who joins the Academy is given the best possible opportunity to thrive—both in school and in the wider community—and is always ready to support wherever she can.

Jessica is a dynamic data and strategy leader whose career spans both financial services and consulting. With a strong foundation in data, strategic thinking, and leadership, she brings a wealth of expertise in problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration to her role as a school governor. Her proven track record of delivering impactful transformation demonstrates her ability to turn complex challenges into meaningful outcomes.
Passionate about education, Jessica is deeply committed to supporting the school's vision of creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every child can thrive. She firmly believes that strong communities are built through education and is proud to contribute to shaping a brighter future for all pupils.
